Certainly one of the most lyrical and elegant films to depict Italy during the years of Garibaldi's revolution, "The Leopard" is not to be missed. The audio was so bad that half the time, I had no idea what was being said anyway. It does have an extremely long ball scene, (45 mins) so that you do actually feel you are there, and beginning to get a bit bored and tired, like some of the characters at the end of the evening, but you can always fast forward through that.
From now on I'm going to start watching more 3 star movies (the reviews are currently at 3 stars) because this was just excellent.
