Found Footage 3D is destined to become a franchise, and for once – I am rooting for such a thing. I could see where some might find this as trying too hard to be clever, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a scene that leaves audiences divided. My review of the 3D found footage horror/comedy "Found Footage 3D." Unbeknownst to them, the events of the film within a film are also reflected in the occurrences affecting the crew, which (in a clever twist) run almost in parallel to the events in the script.
Let me just say this, right off the bat. As someone who's not the biggest fan of found footage, and pretty sceptical of 3D, I went into this one quite unsure.
But the best performance of the film was from Carter Roy, who initially establishes himself as a likable yet slightly-obnoxious leader, then gradually transforms himself into a full-blown and very punchable jerk.

This sense of uncertainty regarding her character comes into play late in in the film, in a chilling moment where she is calling out for help on the camera radio. And it shows! Also, the diatribe the director goes on about how there have barely been any good found footage movies and that Blair witch was one of two decent films really irks me on a personal level considering there have been plenty of great FF movies like lake mungo, the tunnel, noroi, and savageland. Found Footage 3D is a breath of fresh air for the found footage genre.
