The only drawback to this bag is that there is no closure so if you’re in a crowded place, you’re going to either want to hold the bag in your hands or have at least one hand over it when wearing it over your shoulder. Everlane Tote Review Update After trying out the grey and black tote with my mom, I ended up buying the navy tote with brown leather handles for myself. I was eyeing the brown leather with navy twill, but decided to wait and see what the black one looked like in person. The crossbody strap is adjustable or you can remove it completely which is a nice feature to have. The black leather straps are sturdy and a great length for throwing over your shoulder, and the cotton twill is wonderfully thick. Mine fits in there, but it doesn’t have padding or extra compartments, so it’s not really safe for a camera. Your email address will not be published. But I don’t really foresee that same problem with this mini tote since it’s so small, you can’t really overstuff it with heavy items that will bend it out of shape. Oh and I accidentally poured hot water all over this bag and it was completely fine. It’s a great tote for carrying on a plane or train and for keeping your belongings safe from pickpockets because of the zip top. A light gray would have been more versatile. – large enough to hold all of our needs
I apologize for the late reply! Everlane Day Market Tote VS Gigi New York. A new black tote bag has been on my to-buy-list for ages now. Just wiped off the water and it was as good as new (no water spots!). Also the shorter bag works well for my petite frame. As I had expected, it worked great for my trip to Paris, Provence, and Burgundy. – and at a really good price point. I’m wondering, though, if you think it would be able to fit my bike helmet if needed (http://bernunlimited.com/shop/bike/women/brighton-720.html#). For this bag, I remove one side but leave the other side attached just in case I need to quickly throw it over my shoulder.
There’s one flat pocket inside that fits my keys and lip balm. As much as I love my tote, I worry that a helmet that size would take up the whole bag. Find plenty of unsponsored reviews of Everlane, Elizabeth Suzann, Only Child, Grana, and Cuyana on the site! Those places are crowded enough as it is.
I love the Day Tote Mini because it reminds me of the Celine small vertical cabas, which I always wanted and was *this close* to buying once.
My mom traveled in style in Burgundy with her grey and black Everlane tote. I was glad I had my tote when exploring Versailles and the Louvre because it held my belongings without being bulky.
