Please don't kick "me" and "I" to the next zip code. I get rather tired of the same old drab reads about grammar. The trouble is, people don't usually use this word incorrectly if there's just one subject in the sentence: If you add more than one person, the "me" and the "I" stay the same: Marlo and I went with her to see the psychiatrist. I won't bore you with the grammatical details of nominative and objective case. It's the same with "I got myself a new book." There are so many other grammar errors that I'll overlook, but this one really is word-abuse. Voted up. How's that? I don't know that I could have handled this (one of my pet peeves) with such humor. If you got 10 correct answers: The Men in white Coats see you and go running the other way. Ugh! If you got 9/10, you're good to go. Yet, I was the "go-to" gal for helping classmates correct their essays, and I still do proof reading on the side. I love this subject, and it helps us to use our language better !! I do like straightforward rules like the one about myself always having an 'I' to go with it.

You would not say, “Please contact myself.” You would say, “Please contact me for more information about the workshop.” So the sentence should be: “Please contact John Smith, Mary Doe or me for more information about the workshop.”, A reflexive pronoun always is the object of a sentence; it never can be the subject. There are some weird exceptions, but when in doubt, always put the comma inside the quote brackets.
