I'm very glad to hear that Floor is their new vocalist (one of my favourite voices in metal).I don't understand why Evanescence are in this list. Their lyrics and deep, dark, and inspiring. ESTK should be at the top of this list! Greatly talented band and I love them but not metal.
With Arejey's energetic rhythm sensation and Lzzy's powerful, 'marmoreal' and 'refined' vocals, they have to be at topmost, or even the top of this list. True fans will always be true, while the posers will be misled by what everyone else listens to just because the radio plays it more. They are all extremely talented at what they do but through all the lineup changes over their career Merecedes is what keeps me listening and just keeps getting better.I honestly don't even know how Evanescence got on this list not to mention the top of it. With over 500 million streams on Spotify, Ruth B could easily be one of Canada’s top performing artists in the world of streaming music. And I know that it was just right so thoroughly I voted AMARANTHE. STACEY’s stark minimalism and vocal layering is bubbling with refreshing, raw emotions that will leave you wanting more, especially after listening to her self-titled five song EP, STACEY, that came out in 2013. Evanscence shouldn't be on the list because 3 albums in 15 years equals a side project at best and not a full fledge band. In the case of groups or duos, they must have been formed in Canada.

This is a metal band list.Besides, Evanescence are way too overrated in my opinion. Not to mention their lyrics; from addressing political issues to the human emotions. Then that's all in all for AMARANTHE. They deserve to be number 1 on this list. I love Lzzy Hale and Maria Brink, but the music is like comparing apples and oranges. The vocal performance is amazing with the clean vocals and the screaming is just amazing.
She has an amazing voice and is arguably the best female singer in the world right now. I think Flyleaf doesn't get enough credit for their work. I doubt the Evanescence fans listen to any other bands in this list, or metal in general. One of the best, if not the BEST, female death metal vocalists.
